Papillon is the debut album of the French/English band LAZARUS HEIGHTS. They’re shaped round singer/songwriter/guitarist DICK GRISDALE, drummer JEFF GAUTIER, keyboardplayer PAUL MOURADIAN and bassist SIMON PEARSON.
The band is enjoying melodic rock, but with a tiny trendy modern rock edge within the preparations. Their first album has a large large sound and the band’s lead singer Dick has a excellent robust voice, which will also be heard proper from the beginning all the way through the midtempo symphonic pushed titletrack that sounds somewhat like a combination between MAGNUM, ASIA, ARENA and PALLAS, so with a transparent British manner of doing prog/sympho melodic rock.
