Proverbial Cool Help Releases New Album “2023” – Choice Rock Band Returns with Contemporary Track After 12-Yr Hiatus
Houston, TX – Choice rock band Proverbial Cool Help is again with their newest album, “2023,” which formally dropped on October 1, 2023. Mixing components of Americana, blues, and nation into their signature selection sound, the band’s new launch provides one thing for fanatics of Pearl Jam, The Breeders, and Trippin’ Daisy.
Shaped in The Woodlands, Texas in 2005 via singer/songwriter Damen Martin and drummer Matt Burgon, Proverbial Cool Help at first recorded their self-titled debut album at Houston’s Sugarhill Recording Studio between 2005 and 2009. After a short lived launch on iTunes in 2010, the band went on a 12-year hiatus prior to re-emerging in 2022 with a re-release in their debut album.
“Proverbial Cool Help 2023” marks a brand new bankruptcy for the band, recorded during the last 12 months at Houston’s Twine Street Studios via Martin and manufacturer Josh Applebee. With Martin’s contemporary signing to Do It Data in March of 2024, each “2023” and their first self-titled album have been re-released beneath Do It Data/The Orchard label. The band may be proud to announce their signing with Excessive Control Team, a transfer that can additional propel their song to a much broader target market.
Lovers can be expecting a mixture of uncooked emotion and delicate musicianship within the new album, showcasing the band’s expansion whilst keeping up the heartfelt storytelling and dynamic sound that first of all earned them a devoted following.
