We decided to do a much longer track for a change here; although it may be overwhelming and even dense musically, we recommend multiple listens to understand what we really mean in all of this and why we’ve written it as we have. There are many concepts for us to cover musically, and we wanted both lyrics and music to have a mutual impact. Many themes will occur melodically, then reprise with dissonant voicing or context—listen for it.”
