Guitarist Steve Albini, drummer Todd Teacher, and bassist Bob Weston made their new album over a chain of weekends in November 2017; October 2019; September 2021; and March 2022. To All Trains was once recorded and combined at Albini’s Electric Audio in Chicago, and Weston and Albini mastered the album at Chicago Mastering Provider.
Since Dude Implausible, Shellac have shared The Finish of Radio, a 2019 compilation of prior to now unreleased recordings made at Maida Vale Studios.
