Warlung are from Houston, Texas and feature been round since 2016. That is their 5th complete album. They have been shaped out of the dissolution of 2 different bands and the contributors made up our minds to jot down a couple of tunes and notice the place they may take them the use of their 70’s influences within the fashionable technology.
I assume we ask what units these types of bands aside neatly for one Warlung have a perfect twin vocal factor happening which provides a ton of melody to the load in their song. The outlet two tracks ‘Virtual Smoke’ and newest unmarried ‘White Gentle Seeker’ are evidence. The interlude of ‘Mourning Devils’ results in the 8 minute plus psych-go-round ‘Spell Speaker’ with all its actions prior to ‘Holy Information’ provides up some correct stoner. ‘Rat Bastard’ is heavier and nastier, then we get some spooky psych on ‘The Napping Prophet’ which is all jangly guitars and synths within the background prior to we get some severe ‘wah-wah’ motion on ‘twenty ninth Scroll, 6th Verse’ they usually groove into any other stoner/psych banger.
Yep, Warlung be offering up one thing other however all inside their stoner rock body. For those who’re partial to 70’s impressed rock, then I’m certain you are going to get one thing out of this.
