Foghat has officially announced the release date for their highly anticipated live album, Live & Loud Across the U.S.A., set to hit shelves on October 30. Fans can get a taste of what’s to come by listening to the first single, “My Babe,” available below.
The iconic blues-based rock band, still energized by founding drummer Roger Earl, recorded this album during their extensive touring schedules in 2024 and 2025. Their tour not only spanned the United States but also included performances in Canada, Mexico, and Europe, showcasing their relentless passion for live music.
Despite their decades-long career, Foghat shows no intention of slowing down—feel free to insert your own “Slow Ride” joke here. Their ongoing Twang & Bang tour is set to resume on August 27 in Lincoln Park, Michigan, with concert plans already in place extending into 2027.
What to Expect from the New Live Album
Live & Loud Across the U.S.A. will be released on triple vinyl, with the first two discs pressed on gold vinyl and the third on red vinyl. The third LP will also feature a special reissue of the beloved album Shaken & Stirred by Earl & the Agitators, marking its vinyl debut.
In the sleeve notes for the album, Earl shares, “The performances on this album were recorded in cities across the United States during the past two years. We didn’t set out to make a live record—we simply wanted to capture Foghat doing what we’ve always loved to do: playing live. Most of these songs have never been released as official live recordings before, and I think they show where the band is today.”

Roger Earl elaborates on the significance of the second disc, stating, “We wanted to include something that many people may not realize is also part of the Foghat story. Joining Earl on this tour are longtime guitarist Bryan Bassett, vocalist/guitarist Scott Holt, and bassist Rodney O’Quinn.
